As the world
leader in the design and manufacture of axial fan
impellers, we have launched a new ground breaking
impeller, the Multi-Wing 9W. This all-aluminium product
delivers impressive performance figures and is available
in any diameter from 600mm to a maximum of 1600mm.
Guaranteed Performance With its airfoil blade profile, the 9W is guaranteed
to produce the highly desirable and extremely efficient
combination of high air volume, low power consumption
and low noise. Indeed, our own wind tunnel testing has
proven efficiency rates up to an impressive 70%.
This large impeller can be configured with 3 or 6 robust
aluminium blades constructed with a twisted aerodynamic
profile. These pressure die cast blades are available
for both clockwise and anticlockwise rotation. What’s
more, they can be set to any pitch angle from 20 degrees
to 50 degrees in one-degree increments to provide a
customised fit whatever your specific application
requirements.
In Stock Versatility As with all of our impellers, we maintain a
comprehensive range of mounting solutions available from
stock. These heavy-duty hub parts are also pressure die
cast and include bosses with standard bore/keyway sizes,
flange mountings and taper-lock bushings to further
enhance the versatility of the 9W range.
Key Applications The 9W is the natural choice for drying applications
and for industrial ventilation units, particularly where
there are high ambient temperatures and smoke spill
situations. To further enhance the performance
capability of the 9W an eight bladed option will be a
popular addition to the range early next year. This will
extend the maximum diameter of the 9W family to a
potential 1700mm.
